Compared to previous film sound projects where the soundtrack was created for an edited and silent video, the music for this piece was composed first. The final version took shape once the editors completed their work, guided ultimately by the wishes of Trio Taika.

An ambient soundscape composed for the opening night of an independent movie theater. The piece was designed to subtly emerge from the natural ambient noise of the theater, gradually tuning the audience into the mood of the featured film, Nuovomondo. Commissioned by Kino Tapiola, the soundscape originally included four minutes of ambient room noise at the beginning, which have been edited out.

The Resonant City is an interactive sound installation. In the piece, industrial metal junk and scrap are transformed into instruments using contact microphones. The installation reveals hidden layers of music and sound embedded in the urban environment.

Objects are collected intuitively and spontaneously on the same day and suspended from wires so they hang freely. Contact microphones are attached to the objects, and their signals are routed through effects processors, creating a continuous ambient collage. Participants play the objects by tapping and manipulating them, engaging directly with the mute secrets of the city.
