The website displays real-time lightning strikes on a map using data from the Finnish Meteorological Institute. It also converts the properties of these strikes into melodies that can be played live.

International Teletext Art Festival website was rebuilt as a fully responsive WordPress site. In addition to serving as the festival’s main hub, it hosts a virtual gallery showcasing artworks by participating artists.
A custom WordPress theme was designed and developed from scratch to meet the festival’s unique aesthetic and functional needs.
A mechatronic art installation created for the Aortta Party by Hytky. Max/MSP analyzed the beat and sent triggers to an Arduino, which controlled an electric motor. Attached to the motor was a rod with a cardboard heart fixed to its tip. The rod’s position was tracked using a Hall sensor. The heart rhythmically struck a thin veil, backlit with red illumination, creating a dynamic, pulsating visual effect.

The poster art needed to convey a sense of immediacy, internationalism, and determination, with a particular emphasis on the principle of universal humanism that underpins the Occupy movement.
The poster traces the key historical milestones of the movement, culminating in the occupation in Finland. Additionally, it functions as the event’s timetable.
Occupy Helsinki organized a support event at a local bar, showcasing audiovisual works from the global Occupy movement and bringing the spirit of the streets into an indoor setting.
The visual identity aimed to distance itself from traditional leftist aesthetics, reflecting the movement’s broad, inclusive, and non-violent stance against selfishness — a message captured in the poster artwork.
